Why choose the KS 3100iG S?
- Dual-fuel operation: choose petrol or LPG according to availability and your setup.
- Pure sine wave output: stable 230V, 50Hz power for compatible sensitive electronics.
- Compact enclosed design: integrated carrying handle and a net weight of 22kg.
- Economy mode: lowers engine speed at lighter loads to reduce fuel consumption and noise.
- Flexible connections: UK 13A AC socket, 12V / 8.3A DC outlet, USB QC 3.0 and USB Type-C.
- Clear operating information: the LED display shows voltage, frequency and operating hours, with low-oil and overload indicators.
- Parallel-ready: compatible with the separately available KS PU1 parallel unit.

Power, fuel and connections
Plan your load
Use the rated output and allow for motor starting loads. For prolonged operation, the manual recommends no more than 80% of rated power: approximately 2.24kW on petrol or 2.02kW on LPG.
Check your LPG setup
An LPG hose with pressure reducer is supplied. Check cylinder connection compatibility before use; a suitable adapter may be required. Follow the manual's leak-check procedure and never operate on petrol and LPG simultaneously.
Parallel connection
The generator has a parallel connection port. The current product artwork specifies that the KS PU1 parallel unit is sold separately; confirm the complete compatible setup before purchase.

Frequently asked questions
Does it produce the same power on LPG?
No. The manufacturer specifies a 10% reduction in output on LPG. Plan the connected load around the fuel being used.
Is an LPG cylinder included?
No. An LPG hose with pressure reducer is supplied, but the cylinder is not included.
Is the KS 3100iG S suitable for sensitive electronics?
Yes. Its inverter system produces a stable 230V, 50Hz pure sine wave output. Keep the connected load within the generator's ratings.
Can two generators be connected together?
Yes. The generator has a parallel port, but the current product artwork specifies that the KS PU1 parallel unit is sold separately.
Can it start automatically during a power cut?
No. The KS 3100iG S uses recoil starting and does not have an ATS input.
