High Power Off-grid Solar Kits (Over 10kW Output)

Large-scale off-grid solar systems provide independent, reliable power to larger locations without grid access or with unstable grid, typically exceeding 10kW, and suitable for large homes, businesses, and communities. Solar panels capture energy and supply your equipment with excess power stored in batteries. A generator can be added as a reserve power source in summer and is required if the location is operated in the winter.

To run reliably day and night, every off-grid system needs a few essential components. Unlike grid-connected systems, it has to generate and store enough electricity to supply your home or business. The main components are:

Solar Panels: Capture energy from the sun and convert it into electricity.
Charge Controller: Regulates the flow of electricity from the panels to the battery to prevent overcharging or damage. Frequently a charge controller is built into an inverter.
Battery Bank: Stores power for use at night, on rainy days, or during emergencies. Lithium-ferro-phosphate (LFP) batteries are more compact and longer lasting, while AGM and GEL are budget-friendly.
Inverter: Converts stored DC power into AC power, so you can run regular work or home appliances.
Solar Mounting and Wiring: These hold your panels securely and connect everything together safely.
Generator: Generates AC power when the battery bank is low and solar energy is not available.

How they work?

1. Energy collection: Solar panels capture sunlight and turn it into DC electricity. If there isn’t enough solar power, a backup generator will start automatically and run until the batteries are charged.

2. Charging: A charge controller regulates the solar panel output, sending it to the battery bank to store energy.

3. Energy Storage: Battery banks (often lithium-based) store the electricity for use when the sun isn't shining.

4. Power Conversion: An inverter converts the stored DC power into AC power, making it compatible with standard appliances.
