Van der Valk Mounting Kits for Standing Seam Roofs are specially designed solar panel mounting systems that use a clamp mechanism suitable for seamed roofs. They feature options for both landscape and portrait mounting, with special clamps developed for different types of standing seams — including round seams (like Kalzip) and flat seams.
The system offers quick and reliable fixation with strong, innovative clamping solutions and adjustable universal panel clamps that support large, high-power panels. These kits include profiles long enough to bridge large spans and are available in various finishes such as plain aluminum, semi-black, and full black. Additionally, the clamps have options to rotate for alignment on slightly curved roofs, enhancing installation flexibility
For seamed joint roofs, 2 types of clamps are available: one for a round seam and one for a flat seam. The round seam is the “Kalzip” variant, which can be applied in almost every case. Roofs with flat seams come in different versions. A special universal flat standing seam clamp was developed for them.
