High-capacity 48V battery storage for demanding installations
The Pylontech Fidus Plus 16kWh LiFePO4 battery is a high-capacity, low-voltage energy-storage unit for compatible hybrid solar, backup-power and off-grid systems. The Fidus Plus range is designed for wall-mounted or floor-standing installation and provides a compact route to substantial usable storage capacity from one battery unit.
This self-heating Pro version is intended for environments that can experience cold conditions. Its battery heating activates between -20°C and 0°C to allow charging above 0°C, while the BMS limits charge and discharge current in extreme temperatures.

Where to use the Pylontech Fidus Plus 16kWh battery
Use the Pylontech Fidus Plus 16kWh battery in compatible 48V systems requiring significant stored energy in a single enclosure. Typical applications include commercial premises, workshops, agricultural sites, remote properties, larger residential backup systems and professionally designed off-grid installations.
For higher-capacity systems, up to 20 batteries can be configured in one battery group, with up to six strings. Multi-group parallel installations require the Pylontech LV-HUB-V2, which acts as the master unit. Confirm inverter compatibility, installation method, protection equipment and communications before ordering.

*The battery supports 100% depth of discharge. Rated capacity is stated at 25°C and 0.2C discharge. The default lower state-of-charge limit is 5% and is adjustable.
**For multi-group installations, an LV-HUB-V2 is required for parallel connection and acts as the master unit. Each group supports a maximum of 19 batteries.
