Pramac E6900 6.4kW Portable Petrol Generator

A robust open-frame petrol generator for higher-demand temporary power, site work and standby applications. The Pramac E6900 provides up to 6.43kW emergency standby power and 5.47kW continuous power at 230V or 115V, 50Hz.

  • 6.43kW emergency standby power and 5.47kW continuous power for suitable single-phase loads.
  • Honda GX390 recoil-start petrol engine with a 6.5-litre fuel tank.
  • 230V and 115V CEE socket outlets, thermal protection and Oil Guard engine protection.

Pramac E6900 6.4kW Portable Petrol Generator

The Pramac E6900 is an open-frame portable petrol generator for temporary power, mobile work and backup applications where 230V or 115V single-phase supply is needed. Its 5.47kW continuous-power rating is suitable for compatible tools, equipment, lighting and selected essential loads when correctly sized.

The generator is powered by a Honda GX390 recoil-start, naturally aspirated and air-cooled petrol engine. It provides 50Hz output with capacitor voltage regulation and a brushless alternator. Select the generator based on its continuous COP rating and allow for motor-starting current.

Key features

  • 5.47kW continuous power: rated COP output for appropriate continuous loads, subject to prescribed maintenance and operating conditions.
  • 6.43kW standby power: 7.15kVA / 6.43kW ESP rating for variable-load emergency standby operation.
  • Honda GX390 engine: 389cc, air-cooled, petrol engine with a mechanical governor and recoil start.
  • 230V and 115V supply: selectable voltage output with CEE IP44 socket outlets for compatible equipment.
  • Standard protections: thermal protection and Oil Guard help protect the generator during operation.

Where to use

The Pramac E6900 6.4kW portable petrol generator is suitable for construction and maintenance work, agricultural tasks, mobile trade teams, temporary facilities, event support, outdoor lighting and independent power systems. It can supply compatible 230V equipment and 115V site tools through its CEE outlet configuration.

The stated fuel consumption is 2.14 litres per hour at 75% load and 2.87 litres per hour at full load. With the 6.5-litre fuel tank, stated running time is 3.04 hours at 75% load or 2.26 hours at 100% load. Actual runtime depends on connected load, ambient conditions and maintenance condition.

Never run a petrol generator indoors, in enclosed spaces or where exhaust fumes can enter occupied areas. A fixed connection to a building, consumer unit, battery charger or inverter system requires a suitable changeover arrangement and installation by a competent electrician.
