This system combines a powerful 5kW inverter with your choice of 10, 15 or 20kWh of Dyness Power Depot H5B G2 5.12kWh batteries. It can be paired with up to 6.4kW of solar panels and an optional 6.6kW generator. It includes:

Flexible and secure installation
The ideal location for batteries is outside, away from living areas. These Dyness Power Depot H5B G2 5.12kWh batteries IP65 ingress protection for safe outdoor installation. Remote battery monitoring is available via Bluetooth.

Sunsynk ECCO 5.0kW 48V off-grid hybrid inverter/charger: This innovative unit combines the functions of a 5000W pure sine wave inverter, two 50A MPPT solar charge controllers, and a 40A mains/generator battery charger in a single device. The inverter is compatible with input up to 6500W solar panels, mains power, a generator, or a battery, with the flexibility to use one or multiple input sources simultaneously.
The ECCO provides a dry‑contact GEN signal (G‑S / GV) that closes when battery SOC/voltage drops below a set threshold; this signal can start an auto‑start generator a single‑phase automatic transfer switch (ATS) rated for 45 A continuous (around 6–7.5 kVA) to safely switch between grid and generator, plus a way to interface the inverter’s GEN dry‑contact signal.
With hybrid capabilities, advanced communication functions, and highly customisable settings, the inverter delivers 5,000W of continuous AC power and up to 5,500W during peak demand to power appliances like pumps, vacuum cleaners, or power tools. The built-in MPPT solar charge controllers maximises solar panel efficiency and offers comprehensive safety features, including overcharge, overheating, and reverse current protection. Its LCD screen displays real-time performance data for the solar array.
