The Könner & Söhnen KS 10000E G is an open-frame petrol and LPG generator with 7.5kW rated power and 8.0kW maximum power at 230V. It combines electric and recoil starting, automatic voltage regulation (AVR), and a 25-litre petrol tank for outdoor work and planned backup power. It is a conventional generator with AVR, rather than an inverter model.

The manufacturer does not publish a separate LPG power rating for this model. Plan LPG loads conservatively and confirm suitability if output is critical.
Why choose the KS 10000E G?
- Choice of fuel: operate on petrol or LPG. The supplied LPG connection equipment includes a hose and pressure reducers; the gas cylinder is separate.
- Practical starting: electric key start, with a recoil starter as an alternative.
- Useful output: a 7.5kW rated output, a 32A Commando (CEE) socket and a separate UK 13A household socket for suitable loads, subject to each socket and cable rating.
- AVR regulation: helps stabilise the 230V output as loads change. Check the power quality required by sensitive equipment before use.
- Operating information: the LED display shows voltage, frequency and running hours; the control panel also has a circuit breaker and low-oil indication.
- Built for outdoor use: an open tubular frame, rubber dampers, a steel petrol tank and a copper-wound alternator.

Plan your load
Size equipment against the 7.5kW rated output, allow for motor starting demand, and observe the individual 13A and 32A socket limits.
The 8.0kW maximum is a short-term rating. Do not assume both sockets can each deliver the generator's full output.
Check your LPG setup
The manufacturer supplies a 1.5m LPG hose, zero-pressure regulator and cylinder-side reducer. Check the cylinder connection for compatibility before use.
The gas cylinder is not included. LPG runtime varies with cylinder size and load.
Plan backup safely
This model uses manual electric or recoil starting. A connection to fixed building wiring needs a suitable changeover arrangement installed by a qualified electrician.
Never backfeed a socket or operate the generator indoors.

Runtime varies with load, fuel quality, weather, altitude and generator condition. Sound pressure at a distance and sound power are different measurements. The manufacturer notes that frequency may briefly vary during transient operation.

Engine oil, petrol, LPG cylinder, appliance leads and any cylinder connection adapter required for your setup are supplied separately.
Before first use
Add engine oil before starting. Read the owner's manual, check the oil level and follow the fuel and battery setup instructions. The manufacturer recommends unleaded petrol with an octane rating of 90–95 and no more than 10% ethanol.
Operate outdoors, away from doors, windows and air intakes. Exhaust contains carbon monoxide. Keep the generator dry and follow the manual's clearance, earthing, electrical protection, fuel handling and maintenance instructions. IP23M does not make it suitable for operation in rain.

Warranty
Manufacturer's warranty: 1 year or 1,000 operating hours, whichever comes first, from the date of purchase.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects, subject to the manufacturer's warranty conditions. Eligible faults may be repaired or the product replaced. Retain your proof of purchase and any warranty documentation supplied with the generator.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use petrol and LPG at the same time?
No. Select one fuel at a time and follow the manual when switching between them.
Is a gas cylinder included?
No. The LPG hose and pressure reducers are supplied, but the cylinder and any adapter needed for its fitting are separate.
Is this an inverter generator?
No. It is a conventional generator with AVR. If your equipment requires a pure sine wave inverter output, ask Energian about an inverter model.
