Excel Power XLD9500Q 6.5kW Stage V Diesel Generator
A canopy-enclosed single-phase diesel generator for dependable 230V power where mains supply is unavailable, limited or needs a backup. The Excel Power XLD9500Q provides 6,500W maximum output and 6,000W rated running output.
- 6.5kW maximum output and 6.0kW rated output for suitable single-phase loads.
- Stage V diesel engine, electric key start and AVR alternator for regulated output.
- 25-litre fuel tank with a stated runtime of up to 25 hours, depending on load and operating conditions.
Excel Power XLD9500Q 6.5kW Diesel Generator
The Excel Power XLD9500Q is a single-phase, canopy-enclosed diesel generator for temporary, standby and off-grid power applications. Its 6,000W rated output is suitable for supplying a range of 230V loads, provided their combined running demand and motor start-up requirements remain within the generator’s capability.
The generator uses a 498cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled direct-injection diesel engine and has an electric key-start system. An AVR alternator is fitted to help regulate output voltage. It is designed for portable and mobile use and is certified to Stage V low-emission requirements.
Key features
- 6.0kW rated running power: suitable for continuous loads within the rated output; allow for appliance start-up surge before selection.
- 6.5kW maximum output: short-duration maximum output for start-up and variable loads; it is not the continuous running rating.
- Stage V diesel engine: 498cc, direct-injection, air-cooled diesel engine for mobile and stationary power requirements.
- Electric key start: straightforward generator starting, with low oil-pressure alarm protection.
- Enclosed generator set: soundproof canopy construction with 75–80dB(A) stated noise level at 7 metres.
Where to use
The Excel Power XLD9500Q 6.5kW diesel generator is suitable for site cabins, workshops, mobile service vehicles, agricultural buildings, temporary facilities, independent power systems and standby supply for selected loads. It provides 230V single-phase power at 50Hz.
It can be used for lighting, battery charging, pumps, refrigeration, power tools and other compatible equipment. Check the running wattage and motor-starting demand of all connected loads, especially compressors, pumps, welders and large power tools.
Never operate a diesel generator indoors, in occupied spaces or where exhaust fumes can enter buildings. A fixed connection to a building distribution board, solar inverter system or battery system requires correctly rated changeover equipment and installation by a competent electrician. Energian can help assess generator sizing and introduce trusted installation partners.
