All in One Fox ESS PQ1 10.0kW Hybrid Off-grid Inverter & 9.84-29.52 kWh EQ5000-S Battery

A high-capacity single-phase solar battery system for larger homes, farms, workshops and light-commercial premises, combining a 10.0kW Fox ESS PQ1 hybrid off-grid inverter with scalable EQ5000 LFP battery storage.

  • 10.0kW rated AC output, 11.0kVA maximum apparent power and 10.0kVA EPS backup output.
  • Three independent MPPTs with 20A per tracker and up to 20kW PV array power for flexible solar design.
  • EQ5000 LFP battery storage from 9.84kWh to 29.52kWh nominal capacity, using two to six battery modules.

Fox ESS PQ1 10.0kW Hybrid Off-grid Inverter with EQ5000 Battery Storage

The Fox ESS All-in-One PQ1 10.0kW Hybrid Off-Grid Inverter & EQ5000 Battery Storage System combines a high-output single-phase hybrid inverter, solar PV inputs, high-voltage LFP battery storage and backup functionality in one stackable floor-mounted platform.

The PQ1-10.0 provides 10.0kW rated output and supports up to 20kW of connected PV array power through three MPPT trackers. EQ5000 battery modules provide 4.92kWh each, with a complete PQ1 system configured with two to six modules for 9.84kWh to 29.52kWh nominal storage.

Key features

  • 10.0kW hybrid inverter: designed for higher-demand single-phase solar and battery-storage systems, subject to site supply capacity and final electrical design.
  • Three MPPT trackers: supports three solar strings with 20A maximum PV input current per tracker.
  • Scalable LFP battery storage: expand from 9.84kWh to 29.52kWh nominal energy with compatible EQ5000 modules.
  • EPS backup output: 10,000VA maximum EPS apparent power, 63A bypass capability and a stated EPS switch time of less than 4ms.
  • Robust installation format: IP66-rated PQ1 inverter and IP65-rated EQ5000 battery storage, subject to correct installation and environmental clearances.

Where to use

This Fox ESS PQ1 10.0kW hybrid inverter and EQ5000 battery system is suited to larger single-phase homes, rural properties, home offices, workshops, farms and small commercial buildings. It can use solar generation directly, store surplus generation and discharge stored energy when PV production is insufficient.

Its three MPPT inputs are useful where PV arrays are split across different roof aspects, buildings or string configurations. With a correctly designed EPS distribution arrangement, selected essential circuits can be supported during a grid interruption.

This is a professionally installed energy-storage system, not a plug-in product. A competent installer should complete system design, PV-string configuration, protective-device selection, commissioning and any required DNO application.
