This Victron Off-Grid Energy Storage System is a powerful and flexible setup for off-grid homes and small businesses. It includes a 8000VA (6.4kW) inverter, 16kWh of LiFePO₄ (LFP) battery storage, and optional 8.0kW solar panels. A generator can be supplied if required to supplement solar power. This 16kWh/8000VA system provides dependable off-grid power supply. It can be charged from solar or a generator, helping to reduce running costs, especially compared with running on a generator alone. It’s ideal for powering essential appliances, tools, IT equipment, and lighting with reliable, round-the-clock energy.
The price includes a basic set of cables, protection disconnectors, and accessories required to create a fully operational system. User manuals and a connection diagram will be supplied with your order. A mounting kit for solar panels is not included due to a wide variety of available options. If you require a mounting system, select a suitable option here or contact us for advice.
The system must be installed by a licensed electrician or technician in compliance with all applicable regulations and guidance. For residential dwellings, guidance here must be followed.

- VICTRON MULTIPLUS-II 48/8000/110-100 INVERTER is the key component in a Victron Energy Storage System (ESS). Providing remote monitoring, quick transfer time, and easy setup, this inverter is great for both mobile and stationary settings. This unit is approved for grid connections in the UK (optional adapter may be required). The advanced ‘adaptive charge’ software fine-tunes the three-stage automatic process to suit the battery condition and how the battery is being used, preventing damage and ensuring less maintenance is required. A fourth stage charge (also called the Storage mode) delivers a longer period of float charging.
- VICTRON SMARTSOLAR MPPT 250/70 70A SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLER gathers energy from your solar panels, and stores it in your batteries. Using the latest, fastest technology, SmartSolar maximises this energy-harvest, driving it intelligently to achieve full charge in the shortest possible time. SmartSolar maintains battery health, extending its life. The SmartSolar charge controller will even recharge a severely depleted battery. It can operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 Volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulphated or otherwise damaged.
- DMEGC 500W MONO N-TYPE BIFACIAL DOUBLE GLASS BLACK FRAME MC4-EVO2A SOLAR PANELS are reliable, efficient and cost-effective with an attractive payback period. The modules have an efficiency 22.6%. The solar panels can handle a heavy snow load of up to 5400Pa and an increased wind load of up to 2400Pa. The panels are well-designed with a durable black frame.
