Victron BMV-712 Smart
The Victron BMV-712 Smart is a precision battery monitor for 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V DC battery systems. It measures battery voltage and current through its supplied shunt, then calculates state of charge, time remaining and historical battery performance.
Check live information from the round, flush-mounted display or wirelessly through the VictronConnect app. The BMV-712 Smart is available in grey or black and is suitable for systems where a dedicated local display is preferred alongside app-based monitoring.

Where to use
The Victron BMV-712 Smart suits campervans, motorhomes, boats, off-grid solar systems, backup-power systems and mobile work vehicles. It can be configured for lithium and lead-acid batteries, using settings appropriate to the battery manufacturer’s charging and discharge guidance.
The supplied 500A shunt is suitable for many installations. For systems expected to exceed 500A, the BMV-712 Smart can be configured for compatible external shunts up to 9,999A and 75mV. A qualified installer or one of Energian’s trusted partners should size the shunt, DC cables, fuse protection and connections.
