Tigo TS4-A-O 700W optimiser
The Tigo TS4-A-O 700W Retrofit Frame-Mounted Optimiser adds module-level optimisation to a standard solar panel. It is a practical option for new arrays and upgrades where panels face different orientations, intermittent shade or electrical mismatch. By fitting an optimiser to each affected module, the system can operate with greater design flexibility than a conventional unoptimised string.
The unit mounts directly to the module frame or, with its clips removed, to the mounting rack. It uses wireless communication and can be commissioned using an Android or iOS mobile device. For module-level monitoring, pair the TS4-A-O with a Tigo Access Point (TAP) and Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA).

Typical applications include commercial rooftops with plant-room shadows, warehouse arrays split across roof aspects, agricultural buildings, and retrofit projects with ageing or mixed-performance modules.
It can also suit new solar installations where module-level visibility or a future-ready path to Tigo monitoring is required. TAP and CCA equipment are required for module-level shutdown, while the CCA is required for monitoring with the TS4-A-O. Important: the maximum module voltage (VMOD MAX) of the connected solar panel must not exceed the TS4-A-O maximum DC voltage. Tigo TAP is required for module-level shutdown, and Tigo CCA is required for monitoring with TS4-A-O.
