Sunsynk Acure SmartCT Wireless CT Clamp – SUNCT-RS03
The Sunsynk SUNCT-RS03 SmartCT provides wireless grid monitoring for compatible Sunsynk Acure hybrid inverters. It measures the flow of electricity between the property and the grid, allowing the inverter to respond accurately to grid import and export.
Communication between the SmartCT and inverter is handled wirelessly using LoRa technology. This can remove the need to install a conventional CT signal cable between the consumer unit and inverter, making it particularly useful when the two are located in different parts of a property.

Wireless Grid Monitoring
The SmartCT monitors current at the grid connection and sends the measurement data to the inverter wirelessly. The inverter can then determine whether the property is importing electricity from the grid or exporting surplus power.
This information can be used by the Acure system to prioritise self-consumption, manage battery operation and regulate inverter output where an export limit has been configured.
Designed for Difficult CT Cable Routes
On a conventional installation, the CT clamp must be connected to the inverter using a dedicated signal cable. This can be inconvenient when the consumer unit is inside the house while the inverter is installed in a garage, plant room or external building.
The SUNCT-RS03 provides a wireless alternative, helping to reduce installation time and avoid unnecessary trunking, conduit or alterations to finished surfaces.

Installation and Commissioning
The CT sensors must be installed in the correct position and orientation so the system can distinguish between imported and exported energy. After installation, the SmartCT is registered in the Acure inverter settings using its serial number. The LoRa channel on the SmartCT must then be matched with the channel shown by the inverter.
