Overview
The Sungrow SG40CX-P2 is a transformerless three-phase string inverter rated at 40 kW AC for commercial and industrial rooftop and ground-mount PV systems up to 56 kWp. It accepts up to 8 strings across 4 MPPTs, supports modules above 500 W with a 15 A per-string input, and includes DC Type I+II and AC Type II surge protection plus AFCI 2.0 as standard.

The SG40CX-P2 is a commercial three-phase grid-tied inverter and must be installed and commissioned by a qualified electrical contractor with G99 application sign-off.
