Solis IntelliHome 5kWh - 40kWh LiFePO₄ Battery System
- Build a practical low-voltage Solis battery bank from 5kWh to 40kWh using up to eight 5kWh IntelliHome batteries in parallel.
- IP66-rated battery enclosure for wall- or floor-mounted installations, with natural cooling and a 100% depth of discharge specification.
- Designed for compatible Solis low-voltage hybrid inverters, supporting CAN or RS485 communications.
Solis IntelliHome 5kWh battery
The Solis IntelliHome 5kWh is a low-voltage LiFePO₄ battery for solar self-consumption, stored-energy backup and hybrid power systems. Start with one 5kWh unit and expand to a nominal 40kWh by connecting up to eight batteries in parallel, subject to compatible inverter design and system configuration.
Its wall- or floor-mounting arrangement can suit homes, small commercial premises, site offices and other energy-storage applications where a compatible Solis hybrid inverter is specified. This battery is not a standalone power source: it requires correctly selected compatible equipment and professional system design.
Key features
- 5kWh nominal LiFePO₄ battery module, expandable to eight units in parallel.
- 44.8–57.6V operating voltage and 100Ah rated cell capacity.
- Recommended charge/discharge current of 50A; maximum sustainable discharge current of 100A.
- IP66 ingress protection, natural cooling, CAN and RS485 communications.
- More than 6,000-cycle / 10-year cycle-life specification under the manufacturer’s stated test conditions.
Where to use
- Solar self-consumption systems using a compatible Solis low-voltage hybrid inverter.
- Small commercial and light-industrial sites seeking to store surplus solar generation.
- Grid-connected battery systems where capacity may be increased in stages.
- Specified backup-power systems, subject to the inverter, changeover arrangement and installation design.
For example, a system may begin with a single 5kWh battery for daytime solar shifting, then expand with additional matching IntelliHome units if load profiles, inverter limits and site requirements allow.
