Use the this powerful and cost-effective off-grid battery storage system to store energy from your on-site energy sources, such as a generator and/or solar panels or wind turbine, and use the stored energy when you need it.

The system comprises:

With 15–20kWh of battery storage and 5kW of continuous power, this system is ideal for keeping a business running in off-grid or backup scenarios. It can support equipment, tools, lighting, and other essential systems. It’s also well suited to off-grid homes, with enough capacity to run everyday appliances and heavier loads like washing machines and water pumps.

The RIIO II 5kW inverter is AC-coupled and can charge the batteries from a generator. You can also add solar panels or a wind turbine later using an external charge controller. This flexible setup gives you a reliable power supply, helps you get the most from your energy sources, and gives you greater control and independence.

The price includes a basic set of cables, protection disconnectors, and accessories required to create a fully operational system. When installing in or near residential premises, the installer must ensure that the battery installation complies with PAS 63100:2024 Electrical Installations – Protection Against Fire of Battery Energy Storage Systems for Use in Dwellings – Specification. 

Flexible and secure installation

The ideal placement for lithium batteries is outside the home, away from living spaces. The batteries can be installed outdoors for maximum installation flexibility and to save time on fitting. Remote monitoring is also available via your smartphone or web portal.

The system must be installed by a licensed electrician or technician in compliance with all applicable regulations and guidance. For residential properties, guidance here must be followed.
