JA Solar 505W N-Type TOPCon Double Glass Bifacial All Black MC4 Solar Panels

  • 505 W rated output per panel for commercial, industrial and larger rooftop solar PV systems.
  • All-black appearance for visible installations, with N-type TOPCon multi-busbar half-cell technology.
  • Bifacial double-glass construction can generate additional electricity from reflected light reaching the rear surface.

JA Solar 505W N-Type TOPCon all-black bifacial solar panel

The JA Solar JAM60D41-505/LB is a 505 W N-type TOPCon double-glass bifacial solar panel with 22.8% module efficiency. It combines an all-black appearance with a 1953 × 1134 mm footprint, making it an option for commercial rooftops, industrial premises and professionally designed off-grid solar arrays.

Key features

  • 505 W rated output: supports higher installed capacity where available mounting space limits panel quantities.
  • N-type TOPCon MBB half-cell technology: uses 120 cells arranged in a 6 × 20 configuration.
  • Bifacial generation: the rear surface can contribute to output where the mounting arrangement allows reflected light to reach it.
  • Double-glass construction: 2.0 mm front glass and 2.0 mm rear glass, with a 30 mm frame.
  • All-black finish: provides a consistent appearance for visible rooftops and solar carports.

Where to use

Suitable applications include warehouses, logistics facilities, commercial and industrial rooftops, agricultural buildings, solar carports and ground-mounted arrays. The panel can also form part of an off-grid solar and battery system when paired with correctly specified power-conversion equipment.

Rear-side generation depends on mounting height, row spacing, shading and the reflectivity of the surface below the panels. The 505 W rating is the front-side output under standard test conditions, not a guaranteed operating output or an allowance for rear-side generation.

This is a system component, not a stand-alone power supply. Check inverter or charge-controller voltage and current limits, cold-weather string voltage, mounting compatibility and DC protection. Installation can be arranged through trusted partners where the complete system cannot be used out of the box.
