HOW DOES A 125A MANUAL TRANSFER SWITCH SINGLE PHASE WORK?

This transfer switch should be permanently installed close to the mains incoming supply to your building. In normal operation the load is supplied by the mains in the usual way but when the mains power is lost everything will go dark if you have a manual transfer switch.

You will have to get your torch and go out to the generator to start it manually and connect it to the manual transfer switch. Then you will need to switch your home or business over to receive power from the generator. When mains power comes back on, you will need to manually switch the power back to the mains and turn off the generator.
