  • 100A gateway for compatible EcoFlow PowerOcean single-phase solar and battery systems, designed for whole-home backup arrangements.
  • Connects directly to the main electrical panel and provides a 100A backup port for a correctly specified installation.
  • Includes a 100A generator port with supported two-wire auto-start for compatible generator-backed systems.

EcoFlow PowerOcean Single-Phase Gateway for whole-home backup

The EcoFlow PowerOcean Single-Phase Gateway is the central connection and transfer component for compatible EcoFlow PowerOcean single-phase solar and battery-storage systems. It is designed to support whole-home backup arrangements with up to 100A nominal AC current, subject to the inverter, battery system, connected loads and installation design.

The Gateway provides grid, backup and generator connections in one wall-mounted unit. It supports a 0ms stated load-side backup switchover time when used with a compatible EcoFlow PowerOcean Single-Phase system and when the required load and grid conditions are met.

Key features

  • 100A nominal AC current on grid connection, backup output and generator port.
  • Nominal AC power of 22kW at 220V, 23kW at 230V or 24kW at 240V.
  • 0ms stated load-side backup switchover time when used with a compatible PowerOcean Single-Phase system.
  • Dedicated generator port with supported two-wire generator auto-start.
  • Ethernet, RS485, CAN, DI and DO communications, plus 12V / 1A DC power output.

Where to use the EcoFlow PowerOcean Single-Phase Gateway

Use the EcoFlow PowerOcean Single-Phase Gateway in compatible PowerOcean systems where the objective is to provide a whole-home or high-capacity backed-up supply during a grid outage. It is suitable for homes with solar PV, compatible EcoFlow battery storage and, where required, a compatible generator connection.

The Gateway is relevant for properties with higher mains capacity, larger household loads, electrically heated systems, EV charging arrangements or essential circuits requiring continuity of supply. Backup performance depends on the connected PowerOcean inverter rating, battery capacity, the total backup load and available solar generation.

This is not a plug-and-play product. A competent installer must assess the supply, consumer unit, earthing arrangement, overload protection, generator interface, inverter compatibility and backup-load design. UK expert support is available, and Energian can help arrange installation through trusted partners.

*The 0ms value is the stated load-side transfer-interruption duration. It requires the Gateway to be used with an EcoFlow PowerOcean Single-Phase system. Under the stated test conditions, the PowerOcean system’s rated power must exceed the total power consumption of the backup loads when the utility grid is open circuit.

**From -30°C to +40°C, the datasheet states that long-term steady-state current is not derated. From +40°C to +55°C, current is linearly derated from 100A to 62.5A.
