EcoFlow PowerOcean 2 6kW hybrid inverter for solar and battery systems
The EcoFlow PowerOcean 2 6kW Single-Phase Hybrid Inverter is designed for compatible single-phase homes installing solar PV, EcoFlow PowerOcean LFP battery storage, or both. It coordinates energy between the PV array, battery, household consumption and the grid to support solar self-consumption and battery-based energy management.
With two MPPT trackers and a maximum PV input of 12kW, the inverter can support solar arrays on two roof orientations or two independently configured strings. This product is supplied with a 120A smart meter. An 80A meter may be available where required by the installation; contact Energian before ordering to confirm suitability.

Where to use the EcoFlow PowerOcean 2 6kW inverter
The EcoFlow PowerOcean 2 6kW hybrid inverter is suitable for compatible single-phase homes with existing or planned solar PV and battery storage. It can be specified for solar self-consumption, energy management around household demand, and backup-load systems where the complete installation has been designed for backup operation.
It is particularly suitable for larger domestic PV systems, homes with EV charging, heat pumps or higher electrical demand, and properties with solar arrays split across two orientations. Final inverter selection depends on the site supply, proposed solar array, battery capacity, expected loads and grid-connection requirements.
This inverter is not a plug-and-play product. A competent installer must confirm PV string voltage and current, battery compatibility, grid metering, protective devices, backup circuits and G98/G99 requirements.
