Overview
The Dyness PowerBox G2 is a 51.2V low-voltage LiFePO4 battery designed for residential energy storage, off-grid power and back-up applications. Each battery provides 10.24kWh of nominal storage capacity and 9.73kWh of usable energy.
Its slim 165mm-deep enclosure can be installed indoors or outdoors. The system can be expanded from one battery to as many as 50 units in parallel, providing total storage capacity from 10.24kWh to 512kWh.
The PowerBox G2 is compatible with a wide range of off-grid and hybrid inverters. Its integrated battery management system communicates through CAN or RS485 and manages each battery independently.

- Expandable storage: Connect between 1 and 50 PowerBox G2 batteries in parallel, without requiring an additional communications hub.
- Adding capacity later: Additional batteries can be incorporated after the initial installation. When batteries are connected in parallel, only one battery requires a firmware upgrade and the remaining batteries can be upgraded automatically.
- Automatic self-heating: The optional heating function allows the battery to charge at temperatures down to -20°C and operate between -20°C and 55°C.
- High discharge capability: Recommended charge and discharge current of 100A, with a maximum discharge current of 200A.
- Integrated safety protection: Smart fire-suppression system with a five-second response time and automatic pressure relief.
- LiFePO4 chemistry: Uses lithium iron phosphate cells for stable operation and long service life.
- Broad inverter compatibility: Compatible with numerous established off-grid and hybrid inverter brands. Compatibility should be checked before ordering.
- Indoor or outdoor installation: IP65-rated enclosure, subject to the installation requirements in the user manual.
- Warranty: Supplied with a 10-year warranty and stated design life of 6,000 cycles.
