The Rolls VB24-200LFP 24V 200Ah LiFePO₄ Battery is a high-capacity lithium battery designed for reliable deep-cycle energy storage in 24V systems. With a nominal voltage of 25.6V, 200Ah capacity and 5.12kWh of total energy, it is well suited to boats, larger motorhomes, off-grid cabins, commercial DC systems and other applications where dependable lithium storage is required.
Part of the Rolls VB Series LFP range, this battery uses prismatic LiFePO₄ cells in a robust ABS enclosure and includes an integrated hardware BMS for electronic protection. It offers fast charge and discharge performance, maintenance-free operation, Bluetooth connectivity, IP65 protection and built-in heating for low temperature operation.

Integrated Battery Management System
The Rolls VB24-200LFP includes an integrated hardware Battery Management System inside the battery. The BMS provides independent charge and discharge protection and is designed to help protect the battery from common electrical and temperature-related faults.
BMS protection functions include short-circuit protection, over-voltage protection, low-voltage protection, over-current protection, low-temperature protection and over-temperature protection.
Low Temperature Operation
The VB24-200LFP includes heating for low temperature operation, making it more suitable for demanding installations where batteries may be exposed to colder conditions. The battery has a charge temperature range of -20°C to 50°C and a discharge temperature range of -20°C to 55°C.
As with all lithium battery installations, charging sources should be configured correctly. The Rolls datasheet states that temperature compensation should not be used and that no battery temperature sensor should be fitted for charge compensation.
Bluetooth Monitoring
Bluetooth connectivity and a dedicated iOS and Android app allow battery information to be viewed more conveniently during operation. This is useful for checking battery status in leisure, marine and off-grid systems where batteries may be installed in compartments or plant areas.

System Design and Installation Notes
This battery should be installed with correctly rated DC protection, suitable cabling and compatible charging equipment. Charger, inverter and solar charge controller settings must be configured to match the battery manufacturer's requirements.
For larger systems, 48V configurations or installations involving inverters, chargers, DC distribution and multiple batteries, professional installation and commissioning is strongly recommended.
