The Rolls VB24-150LFP 24V 150Ah LiFePO₄ Battery (R24-150LFP) is part of the R-Series LFP range and uses cylindrical LiFePO₄ cells in a robust 8D ABS enclosure. With 3.78kWh of energy, fast charge/discharge behaviour and IP65 protection, it is well suited to 24V boat systems, larger campervans, off-grid cabins and small commercial DC banks.

An integrated 8S150A BMS manages protection, while the standard BCI footprint makes it straightforward to replace existing deep-cycle lead-acid batteries. The battery offers maintenance-free lithium storage for systems where dependable deep-cycle performance and lower whole-life cost are important.

Integrated Battery Management System

The Rolls VB24-150LFP includes an integrated hardware Battery Management System inside the battery. The 8S150A BMS provides independent charge and discharge protection and is designed to help protect the battery from common electrical and temperature-related faults.

BMS protection functions include short-circuit protection, over-voltage protection, low-voltage protection, over-current protection, low-temperature protection and over-temperature protection.

System Design and Installation Notes

This battery should be installed with correctly rated DC protection, suitable cabling and compatible charging equipment. Charger, inverter and solar charge controller settings must be configured to match the battery manufacturer's requirements.

For larger systems, 48V configurations or installations involving inverters, chargers, DC distribution and multiple batteries, professional installation and commissioning is strongly recommended.
