Tigo TS4-X-O 800W 25A Isc Solar Optimiser  (Monitoring & Rapid Shutdown)

  • Reduce the effects of shading and panel mismatch with module-level optimisation.
  • Monitor individual panel production and enable rapid shutdown with the required Tigo communication equipment.
  • For high-power solar modules up to 800W, with maximum operating current of 20A and short-circuit current of 25A.

Tigo TS4-X-O 800W Solar Optimiser

The Tigo TS4-X-O combines optimisation, monitoring and rapid shutdown in a module-level device for new solar installations and retrofits. It clips onto a standard solar panel frame or mounts to racking, helping reduce energy losses caused by shading and mismatch. Used with Tigo Access Point (TAP) and Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA), it provides panel-level production data through the Tigo Energy Intelligence platform.

Key features

  • Module-level optimisation helps limit the impact of shaded or mismatched panels on array production.
  • Panel-level monitoring provides visibility of individual module and overall system production through Tigo Energy Intelligence.
  • Rapid shutdown equipment certified to UL 1741 PVRSE, with a shutdown time limit of less than 30 seconds.
  • Frame-mounted or racking-mounted design, IP68 outdoor rating and an operating temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.
  • Maximum efficiency of 99.6% and a stated 25-year warranty, subject to Tigo’s applicable warranty terms.

Where to use

For new and existing solar PV arrays, including warehouse roofs, logistics buildings, commercial premises and industrial sites. Typical applications include panels affected by nearby structures, roof equipment or other sources of partial shading, and arrays where module-level production monitoring is useful.

Compatibility and installation

Tigo lists compatibility with thousands of inverter models from more than 50 brands. Check the exact panel, inverter, string design and connector combination before ordering; an 800W power rating alone does not establish compatibility. The 25A rating is the short-circuit current limit, not the continuous operating current limit.

TAP and CCA are required for module-level monitoring and rapid shutdown. An optional Tigo RSS Transmitter enables additional multi-factor rapid shutdown capability. Selective optimiser deployment must follow Tigo’s design rules and should not be treated as whole-array monitoring or rapid shutdown coverage.

This is an installed PV component, not a standalone plug-and-play product. Ask Energian for UK technical guidance and installation through trusted partners, including a review of the required communications equipment and commissioning.
