Off‑grid Hybrid Energy Storage System
The Off‑grid Hybrid Energy Storage System (Off‑grid Hybrid ESS) is a straightforward way to boost your energy independence. It includes a Sunsynk ECCO 3.6kW Off‑grid Hybrid Inverter, 2× Fogstar Drift 24V 230Ah Gen 2 Lithium Battery Modules, and 16× PHONO Meteor 450W Mono MC4 Panels (custom quantities of solar panels and batteries are available on request), plus an optional Excel Power XL6000i‑DF 6kW Dual‑Fuel Inverter Generator. A basic set of cables is included to make installation easier.
Solar panels, mounted on the roof or on the ground, capture sunlight and generate direct current to charge the battery. The hybrid inverter then converts that stored energy into alternating current for use in homes or small businesses. The Off‑grid Hybrid ESS manages any surplus energy by storing it in the battery or, where allowed, feeding it into the grid.
Home energy storage lets you use the electricity you generate when you need it most. The battery bank stores renewable energy from solar photovoltaic (PV) panels or a wind turbine. For example, power generated during the day can be stored and used in the evening for tasks such as boiling the kettle or running electronic devices.

- FOGSTAR DRIFT 24V 230Ah Gen 2 5.52kWh LV LFP Battery is rated for more than 4000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge. Two modules in series give 11.04kWh of usable storage, with around 98% charge/discharge efficiency and plug‑and‑play installation.
- PHONO Meteor 450W Black Frame MC4 Solar Panel captures up to 7.2kW DC and converts it to AC for immediate use in the home or business, with surplus energy stored in the battery or, where allowed, fed into the grid.
- Durable, dust‑ and water‑resistant solar panels – The PHONO 450W panel is dust‑ and water‑resistant so it can cope with most weather. An anti‑reflective and anti‑soiling surface helps reduce power loss from dirt and dust. It comes with a 15‑year product warranty and a 30‑year linear power‑output warranty.
