The Victron Quattro 24/3000/70-50/70 is a compact off‑grid hybrid inverter/charger that combines a 3000VA 24V pure sine wave inverter, a powerful 70A battery charger and dual AC transfer system in one unit. It is well suited to off‑grid cabins, commercial huts, telecoms sites, logistics depots, pumps, and backup power systems where reliability and configurability matter. Two AC inputs, two AC outputs and full system integration via VE.Bus make it a flexible building block for both standalone and more complex multi‑unit systems.

  • 3000VA 24V pure sine wave inverter: Provides 2400W continuous output at 230VAC 50Hz for running tools, IT loads, lighting and other sensitive equipment, with 6000W peak power for motor starts and inrush loads.
  • Dual AC inputs with automatic transfer: Two independent AC inputs (for example grid and generator) with integrated transfer switch and per‑input current limits, helping prevent overloading limited supplies.
  • Two AC outputs: Main output with no‑break functionality for critical loads (transfer in less than 20ms), and a second output that is live only when an AC input is available for non‑essential loads such as water heaters.
  • 70A smart battery charger: High‑capacity house battery charger with temperature‑compensated, multi‑stage charging for 24V batteries, suitable for unattended operation when correctly configured.
  • Scalable and configurable: Supports parallel and three‑phase configurations via VE.Bus, and can be integrated with solar charge controllers, grid‑tie inverters and GX monitoring for advanced systems.

Additional functions and system benefits

  • PowerControl and PowerAssist: Limits input current from weak generators or limited grid supplies and can supplement them from the battery during short peaks, improving site resilience.
  • Off‑grid and grid‑interactive operation: Can be used in off‑grid systems as well as grid‑connected PV and other alternative energy systems, including self‑consumption and backup configurations when correctly set up.
  • Comprehensive protection: Built‑in protection against output short circuit, overload, battery overvoltage/undervoltage, over‑temperature, AC backfeed to the inverter output and excessive input voltage ripple.
  • Monitoring and remote access: Compatible with GX devices (such as Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX) for local and remote monitoring and control via the free VRM portal and apps.
