The MultiPlus 12/2000/80-32 combines a pure sine wave inverter, an adaptive 80 A battery charger, and a fast AC transfer switch in one compact unit. It supports PowerControl and PowerAssist for smarter power management, integrates with Victron GX devices for local and remote monitoring, and can be configured for parallel and three-phase systems.
Ideal for off-grid, backup and mobile applications including cabins, boats, campervans, garden offices and small business loads.

Key features
- 2000 VA pure sine wave inverter: delivers 1600 W continuous at 25 °C with 3500 W peak for starting demanding loads. Clean 230 VAC output at 50 Hz for sensitive electronics.
- Adaptive 80 A 4-stage charger: bulk, absorption, float and storage modes with BatterySafe and temperature compensation for faster, safer charging. Includes 1 A trickle output for a starter battery.
- Fast AC transfer switch: automatic switchover to inverter in under 20 ms keeps computers and electronics running without interruption. 32 A transfer current for this model.
- PowerControl and PowerAssist: set an input current limit to avoid overloading shore or generator supplies. The inverter can boost short power peaks from the battery and recharge when loads reduce.
- Parallel and three-phase capable: run up to six units in parallel for higher power. Configure three identical units for three-phase systems; larger multi-set systems are supported.
- Solar-ready systems: works in off-grid and grid-connected PV systems and pairs with Victron GX devices and the free VRM portal for monitoring and control.
Additional intelligent functions
- Search Mode and AES: reduces idle consumption to as low as approximately 3–4 W.
- Programmable relay: default alarm relay; configurable for tasks such as generator start/stop with VEConfigure.
- Comprehensive protection: output short circuit, overload, battery over/undervoltage, over-temperature, 230 VAC on inverter output and excessive input ripple.
- Remote monitoring and control: pair with Cerbo GX or another GX device for local network access and remote VRM monitoring from anywhere.

Notes
- This 2 kVA model provides a single AC output. Models rated at 3 kVA and above include a second output that is only live when AC input is present.
- Settings can be adjusted via DIP switches or with VEConfigure. Parallel and three-phase systems are configured using VE.Bus Quick Configure or VE.Bus System Configurator.
