- The Sungrow SH20T inverter requires a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 8 SBH050 (5.0 kWh) battery modules per SBH battery tower for stable operation with this inverter family.
- One or two 15-40kWh battery towers each can be connected to a single SH20T via a Y‑connector (parallel cable), with both towers required to be identical in model, module count, and size.
- Supports PV and lithium battery storage with 50 A fast charge / discharge for peak‑shaving and backup.
- Built‑in 63 A bypass and 10 ms seamless transfer for whole‑load or critical‑load backup with suitable switchgear.
The Sungrow SH20T is a 20 kW three‑phase hybrid inverter designed for commercial and industrial premises with three‑phase supplies. It combines high‑voltage PV input with a lithium battery connection to provide grid‑tied operation, backup supply and flexible energy management in one compact unit. Typical applications include smaller warehouses, logistics depots, retail units and offices aiming to cut grid consumption and maintain key services during grid outages.
