The Excel Power XL6000i-DF is a powerful dual-fuel inverter generator for home backup, professional and leisure applications. It produces clean pure sine wave electricity for sensitive electronics and can run on either unleaded petrol or LPG, giving greater flexibility where one fuel source is more practical or readily available.

With electric, recoil, remote key-fob and 2-wire starting, a 13.5-litre petrol tank, Eco Mode, rear wheels and an extending handle, it combines substantial output with convenient day-to-day operation and transport.

Dual-Fuel Flexibility

The XL6000i-DF can operate on unleaded petrol or LPG. LPG offers a useful alternative where petrol storage is inconvenient or where a cleaner-burning fuel is preferred. Fuel selection is manual: the generator must be stopped before changing between petrol and LPG.

Clean Inverter Power

Its true sine wave inverter alternator provides stable 230V, 50Hz output suitable for appliances and sensitive electronic equipment such as laptops, chargers, televisions and modern boiler controls. The generator includes overload protection to help protect the alternator and connected equipment.

Starting and Backup Compatibility

The XL6000i-DF has electric push-button starting, recoil backup starting, a remote key fob and a 2-wire start connection. The 2-wire facility allows connection to compatible external control equipment. A correctly specified transfer switch or changeover arrangement is required for connection to a domestic electrical installation and must be installed by a competent electrician.

Portable, Practical Design

Despite its high output, the XL6000i-DF is designed to be moved around site or positioned for home and leisure use. Rear wheels and an extending handle make manoeuvring easier, while Eco Mode lowers engine speed at reduced loads to help limit fuel consumption and noise.

Warranty

Private / domestic use: 3-year or 500-hour limited warranty, whichever occurs first, when the generator is registered within 30 days of purchase. If it is not registered within this period, the standard 1-year warranty applies.

Commercial use: 1-year or 250-hour limited warranty, whichever occurs first. Warranty is subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.
