How to Choose the Right EcoFlow Battery

HERE ARE THE STEPS TO HELP YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT ECOFLOW BATTERY

Identify Your Needs:

  • Consider which devices you will use and charge and how often.
  • For recharging mobile phones and laptops off-grid for a few days, RIVER 2 and RIVER 2 MAX are suitable.
  • The RIVER 2 Pro will also power a single ring hob and a travel hair dryer - if you are off grid for more than a day, you will need a solar panel to recharge.
  • For additional power in your caravan or motorhome, to run a kettle, coffee maker, hair dryer, fridge, and hob, or for off-grid living, consider the DELTA series.
  • Solar panels are always useful to extend the run time of your battery.

Choosing the Right Model:

  • Select a power station based on the power consumption of your appliances and your budget.
  • Think about how long and how often you need to run your appliances.
  • When off-grid, prioritise. When estimating your power usage and the running time of a battery, think of the devices most important to you and count these first.

Typical Power Consumption:

  • Refer to the table below for the typical power consumption of popular household appliances. This will help you estimate the right power station for your needs.

Estimating Run Time:

  • If using multiple devices at once, add up their power usage (in Watts) from the Guideline Power Consumption column.
  • The run time for multiple devices will be the power station’s capacity divided by the total power consumption of your appliances, not the sum of individual run times.

This ensures you choose a power station that meets your specific needs within your budget.
