Solarport Modular Ground Mounting Kits

Solarport’s modular ground mounting kits are pre-engineered steel support systems for ground-mounted solar arrays, based on a 2‑in‑portrait layout that can be extended in repeatable bays. They are intended for commercial, industrial and larger domestic sites where a tidy, scalable ground array is preferred over roof mounting.

Each kit uses galvanised steel structures and standardised components to keep on-site work simple, with a single fixing size and common parts across different bay lengths and angles. The system can be supplied with several foundation options such as driven piles, concreted posts, ballast plates, anchors and ground screws, so it can be adapted to different soil conditions and planning constraints.

Typical uses include logistics yards, depots, utility compounds and open land adjacent to buildings, where the array needs to be accessible for maintenance and kept clear of roof obstructions. Kits are designed to relevant European structural standards and are supported by detailed datasheets and installation guidance, making it easier for engineers and installers to integrate them into wider project designs.
