This kit provides power for small commercial security systems with CCTV, cameras, gates, and sensors 24/7, reducing costs and enabling quick deployment. Small commercial security systems (e.g., 4–8 cameras, basic gates, sensors) typically consume 60–300 watts total during 24/7 operation, translating to 1.5–7 kWh daily. What solar panels and a battery are required to generate approx. 7.0Wh?

To answer this question we have simulated solar generation with Photovoltaic Geographical Information System for a test location with coordinates 57.613 latitude and -4.688 longitude (West-Northern Scotland). The simulation shown that the required solar generation can be achieved from April to September with 12x 450W solar panels and 10kWh battery. From October to March an additional energy up to 6300Wh per day is drawn from the grid as shown on the diagram below.
