Why choose the KS 2000iG S?
- Dual-fuel operation: choose petrol or LPG according to availability and your setup.
- Pure sine wave output: stable 230V, 50Hz power for compatible sensitive electronics.
- Compact and portable: a 19kg enclosed design with an integrated carrying handle.
- Economy mode: lowers engine speed at lighter loads to reduce fuel consumption and noise.
- Clear operating information: the LED display shows voltage, frequency and operating hours, with low-oil and overload indicators.
- Parallel-ready: compatible with a separately available KS PU1 parallel connection unit.
- Low-noise housing: rated at 62dB(A) at 7 metres.
Power, fuel and connections
Plan your load
Use the rated output and allow for appliance starting loads. For prolonged operation, the manual recommends no more than 80% of rated power: 1.44kW on petrol or approximately 1.30kW on LPG.
Check your LPG setup
An LPG hose with built-in reducer is supplied. Use only the fuel and connection method specified in the manual, check every connection before starting and never use petrol and LPG at the same time.
Parallel connection
The separately available KS PU1 can connect two compatible Könner & Söhnen inverter generators. The manufacturer states that the combined rated output is reduced by 0.2kW.

Frequently asked questions
Does it produce the same power on LPG?
No. The manufacturer specifies a 10% reduction in output on LPG. Plan the connected load around the fuel being used.
Is an LPG cylinder included?
No. An LPG hose with built-in reducer is supplied, but the cylinder is not included.
Is the KS 2000iG S suitable for sensitive electronics?
Yes. Its inverter system produces a stable 230V, 50Hz pure sine wave output. Keep the connected load within the generator's ratings.
Can two generators be connected together?
Yes. A separately available KS PU1 can connect two compatible Könner & Söhnen inverter generators. The manufacturer states that 0.2kW is deducted from their combined rated output.
Can it start automatically during a power cut?
No. The KS 2000iG S uses recoil starting and does not have an ATS input.
