Why choose the KS 7000E G?
- Petrol or LPG operation: choose the most practical available fuel and switch between fuels following the instructions in the manual.
- Direct LPG starting: the generator can start and run on LPG without adding petrol first.
- LPG connection equipment included: supplied with a 1.5m gas hose and the required pressure-reduction equipment for connection to a compatible LPG cylinder.
- AVR voltage control: the automatic voltage regulator helps maintain stable output as connected loads change.
- Manual and electric starting: start with the recoil handle or ignition key.
- Useful AC connections: one UK 13A household socket and one 32A Commando (CEE) socket, both at 230V.
- Long petrol runtime: the 25-litre steel tank provides approximately 17 hours at 50% load under the manufacturer's test conditions.
- Durable construction: a copper-wound alternator, tubular frame and anti-vibration dampers support reliable operation.
Power, fuel and connections
Plan your load
Use the 5.0kW rated output, allow for starting loads and stay within socket and cable limits.
For prolonged loads, the manufacturer recommends no more than 80% of rated power: approximately 4.0kW.
Check your LPG setup
Connect the supplied hose and pressure-reduction equipment only to a compatible LPG cylinder. Keep the cylinder upright and check every connection for leaks.
Do not connect this generator to a gas line and never operate it on petrol and LPG at the same time.
AVR and outlets
The generator uses AVR voltage stabilisation rather than inverter technology. Check each appliance's requirements and starting load before connection.
Outputs: one UK 13A household socket, one 32A Commando (CEE) socket — both 230V — and one 12V / 8.3A DC outlet.

What's included
- KS 7000E G dual-fuel generator
- 1.5m LPG cylinder connection hose
- Built-in pressure regulator and additional cylinder-mounted regulator
- English operating instructions
- Spark-plug wrench
- Ignition keys for electric starting
LPG cylinder, petrol, engine oil, appliance leads and the optional KS 7 transport kit are supplied separately.
Before first use
Add the recommended engine oil before starting. Read the owner's manual, check the oil level and follow the commissioning instructions. For petrol operation, use unleaded petrol with an octane rating of 90–95 and no more than 10% ethanol.
For LPG operation, use a compatible cylinder in the upright position, connect the supplied LPG equipment correctly and check for leaks. Do not connect the generator to a gas line or use petrol and LPG simultaneously.
During the first 20 operating hours, do not connect loads exceeding 50% of rated output. Change the engine oil after the first 20 hours and follow the maintenance schedule in the manual.
Operate outdoors, away from doors, windows and air intakes. Exhaust contains carbon monoxide. Keep the generator dry and follow the manual's clearance, earthing, electrical protection, refuelling and maintenance requirements. IP23M does not make the generator suitable for operation in rain.
