Victron SmartShunt
The Victron SmartShunt is an all-in-one shunt-based battery monitor with no separate display. Instead, use Bluetooth and the free VictronConnect app on a phone or tablet to view live battery data, configure settings and review stored trends.
By measuring all current flowing into and out of the main battery bank, the SmartShunt calculates state of charge and time remaining. It is a practical way to prevent unexpected deep discharge and check whether solar chargers, mains chargers, alternators and DC loads are behaving as expected.

Where to use
Use a Victron SmartShunt in 12V, 24V, 36V or 48V battery systems for campervans, motorhomes, boats, off-grid cabins, solar battery banks, mobile work vehicles and backup-power systems. It is compatible with common battery chemistries, including lead-acid and lithium, when configured for the battery manufacturer’s requirements.
Select the shunt rating according to the expected continuous current, not only the battery capacity. All DC loads and charge sources that must be included in the state-of-charge calculation need to connect on the system side of the shunt.
