SolaX X1-FIT G4 7.5kW Single-Phase AC-Coupled Charger Inverter
The SolaX X1-FIT G4 7.5kW is a single-phase AC-coupled battery inverter for retrofitting high-voltage battery storage to an existing solar PV system. This supplied unit is model X1-FIT-7.5-W, version G4.3, with no PV MPPT or string inputs.

- Retrofit AC-coupled storage: adds battery storage alongside an existing single-phase PV inverter without connecting PV strings to the X1-FIT.
- 7.5kW AC power: 7.5kW nominal output with a maximum 7.5kVA apparent output and 32.6A maximum output current.
- High-voltage battery support: compatible with supported lithium-ion or lead-acid batteries from 80 to 480V, with 30A maximum continuous charge/discharge current.
- Backup capability: EPS output is 7.5kW nominal, with 11.25kVA peak output for 10 seconds and switchover time below 10ms when installed with the required backup arrangement and battery.
- Monitoring and control: the supplied configuration includes a CT and Pocket WiFi + LAN dongle for SolaXCloud monitoring; the inverter also supports external control via RS485 and USB upgrades.
- Built for installation flexibility: IP65 protection, up to 97.0% battery charge/discharge efficiency, five work modes and two programmable charging periods.
Where to Use
Ideal for existing single-phase solar PV homes where a high-voltage battery is being added for greater self-consumption, time-of-use charging or a designed EPS backup supply. Battery, compatibility, grid connection and backup-circuit requirements should be confirmed by a qualified installer.
