Overview
The SolarEdge PCS050 is a 50 kW three‑phase AC‑coupled battery inverter, supplied as part of the SolarEdge CSS‑OD commercial storage system. It connects to one or two SolarEdge 102.4 kWh battery cabinets and an AC‑coupled SolarEdge PV system, handling charging and discharging of the storage while interfacing with the grid or backup system.
The inverter is managed through the SolarEdge ONE optimisation platform, which coordinates site generation, storage and loads for self‑consumption, peak shaving and tariff‑based operation as supported in firmware. When combined with the optional Commercial Backup Interface in supported countries, it can also form part of a microgrid‑type backup architecture.
