The Raython-R8 is a compact, factory-assembled 8kW solar energy system designed for off-grid homes, holiday cottages, remote cabins, and backup power applications. It combines a high-performance TBB Power RIIOSUN-II 8kW hybrid inverter with intelligent energy management, seamless generator integration, and optional lithium battery storage—ready to deliver reliable, clean, and quiet power where grid access is unavailable or unreliable.

Pre-Built for Fast, Hassle-Free Setup

The Raython-R8 arrives fully pre-wired, pre-configured, and factory tested in a weather-resistant IP54 enclosure. Most installations can be completed in under three hours—ideal for time-critical or remote deployments.

Hybrid System with Solar, Battery and Generator Support

This all-in-one unit integrates solar input, battery storage, and generator backup into a single smart system. It’s designed to maximise solar energy use, reduce generator runtime, and support loads reliably even when the sun isn’t shining.

Automatic Generator Start (AGS)

The built-in AGS feature automatically starts and stops a connected generator based on battery state of charge, load demand, or time settings. This allows larger generators to operate in short, high-efficiency bursts, reducing noise, fuel use, and wear and tear.

Power Assist and Load Support

High inrush loads such as pumps, fridges, and power tools are no problem. The inverter's Power Assist function supplements generator output with battery power during peak demand, allowing smaller generators to be used without compromising system performance.

Fast, Reliable Transfer Time

With a transfer time of just 4 milliseconds, the Raython-R8 provides near-instantaneous switchover between power sources. Sensitive electronics and critical loads remain uninterrupted during generator starts or grid failure.

Smart Energy Management System

The integrated EMS intelligently balances solar, battery, and generator power to optimise fuel efficiency and solar utilisation. Critical loads are prioritised automatically, and AC output includes leakage protection for added safety.

Remote Monitoring and App Control

Monitor and manage the system remotely using the included TBB E4 touchscreen or via the NOVA mobile/web app. View real-time data, access historical logs, and fine-tune settings to maximise self-consumption and performance.
