Q.: Do Portable Power Stations Generate Electricity?

A.: By themselves - they do not. Connected to a solar panel - they do.

Our portable power stations include: batteries, charge controller to protect the battery and an inverter to allow the battery to power AC devices such as most home or professional electrical tools, for example cookers and heaters in a mobile catering van.
A power station can be charged from mains or solar panels. To generate power, a portable power station should be connected to solar panels. These can be purchased from us as part of a set, or you can use your own. Combined with solar panels, a portable power station turns into a generator.
Q: How to decide which one is right for me?
A: Consider the power consumption of the devices you want to connect, how many hours/day autonomy (off-grid power) you need and (if using solar panels to charge) the rating of the panels and how many hours a day you have access to sunlight. We have developed a handy online tool for this that you can use by clicking here.
