A Myenergi Libbi Hybrid/Grid Backup Energy Storage System empowers you to store energy from economical sources, such as solar panels (in Hybrid application) and mains power (in Grid-backup application) at the off-peak Octopus tariff. This stored energy can be strategically utilized, providing an alternative to exporting power at low feed-in tariffs or depending on costly peak-rate power.
The All in One Libbi Hybrid/Grid Backup 5-10kWh Energy Storage System, equipped with a 3.68kW AC Charger Inverter (5-10kWh/3.68kW Libbi Hybrid/Grid Backup ESS), comprises:
- 1x or 2x Libbi 5.0kWh High Voltage Battery,
- 1x Libbi 3.68kW Charger Inverter for Hybrid or Grid Backup applications,
- 1x Myenergi Libbi Controller,
- 1x Cable Extension Kit, and
- (Optional) 12x JA Solar 405W Mono MBB PERC Half-Cell All Black MC4 Solar Panels in Hybrid application only.
The 5-10kWh/3.68kW Libbi Hybrid/Grid Backup ESS adeptly manages energy usage, ensuring a consistent electricity supply and facilitating cost reduction (e.g., charging a battery with low-priced solar or Octopus electricity).
- Myenergi Ecosystem - The Libbi integrates with your Myenergi devices, prioritising power to your home, Eddi Solar Diverter or Zappi EV Charger.
- Ultimate Control - The Libbi gives you the option to charge solely from solar or through the grid or a mixture of the 2. It also has the capability optimise grid charging around your energy tariff.
- Remote Access - The Myenergi App allows you to access and contorl your Libbi and other Myenergi devices from anywhere in the world. It also allows you to monitor live import and export to from and to the grid.
- Modular battery storage - Each battery module can store 5kWh of energy. This is scalable up to 4 batteries, offering a total maximum capacity of 20kWh.
- Flexible Install - The Libbi works as both an AC and DC coupled battery system with solar PV and can also work as a battery inverter without any PV at all.
