The fridge operates through a 12v power adaptor plugged into a cigarette lighter-type 12v socket. Alternatively, it can run off mains power using a 3-pin plug adaptor. The rated wattage of the K25 fridge is 60W. The actual wattage is contingent on the internal and ambient temperatures and is typically lower.
HOW DO I CONTROL MY ALPICOOL K25 FRIDGE?
Operate the Alpicool K25 Fridge using an inbuilt control panel with an LCD screen or a smartphone app for iOS and Android devices by following these steps:
- Download the Alpicool App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Ensure Bluetooth is on.
- Open the app and search for your fridge.
- Choose the fridge icon.
- 'AP' is displayed on the fridge's screen.
- Press the setting button to connect your mobile device to the fridge.
- Refer to the user manual for further guidance.
WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE UNPACKING THE FRIDGE AND IMMEDIATELY AFTER?
- Before unpacking, check for any signs of damage to the packaging or the fridge. If any damage is evident, take pictures and contact Energian customer support via email at info@energian.co.uk or by phone at 020 8064 0335.
- Unpack the fridge and allow it to adjust to room temperature for at least 12 hours before turning it on for testing.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF THE FRIDGE DOESN'T TURN ON OR HAS DEFECTS?
Contact Energian Customer Service immediately to receive assistance in resolving the issue or to arrange a replacement.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THE FRIDGE TO COOL DOWN TO -18°C?
The cooling time depends on the ambient temperature and contents:
- If the fridge is empty, it takes about 1 hour to cool to -18°C, contingent on ambient temperature.
- If fully loaded, it takes around 2-4 hours to reach -18°C, depending on ambient temperature.
AFTER PRESSING THE ON/OFF BUTTON, NOTHING HAPPENED. IS THE FRIDGE DEFECTIVE?
To activate the fridge, press and hold the ON/OFF button for a few seconds, and it will turn on.
I RECEIVED AN E1 ERROR CODE, AND THE FRIDGE IS NOT WORKING. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
The E1 error code indicates that low voltage protection is activated due to input voltage being lower than the default value. Adjust the protection level as directed in the user manual or connect an external power source to restart the fridge.
WHY DOES THE TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATE?
The compressor ceases functioning once the internal temperature reaches the set value. It restarts when the temperature increases by about 3°C. For optimal food preservation, set the target temperature approximately 3°C lower than the desired temperature.
